Does Irish Springs Really Keep The Flies Away?

One of our boarders brought up the age-old fly remedy of using a cheese grater to sprinkle a bar of Irish Springs around each stall, yes, 1 bar per stall. Makes you wonder who had this idea, to begin with, but the larger point is that it only served to make the stall smell really nice for 1 day. Flies could care less how clean it smelled because they literally would walk all over the soap to get to where they were going. I guess maybe their tiny feet were cleaner and I’ve heard from their associates that they really appreciated the thought.

In the end, though, it didn’t send a single fly scurrying for a safe space like facts do for our leftist friends. So just like every leftist you know in life, each flake of soap sprinkled across the floor was a complete and utter failure.
