Apparently, at some point the other day, Ethan and Kayleigh made a bet. Ethan has only been riding horses for a month or so and almost all of that time has been working Ruger. A 4-year-old, unbroken at the time, untouched by a human’s hand, horse. He’s never loped a circle on a trained horse and he’s never run a set of barrels. He’s watched plenty, but never actually done it.

I wasn’t there during the initial bet, but I’m sure Ethan was giving Kayleigh a hard time about boys being better than girls or something along those lines, and she decided it would be wise to make a bet that he couldn’t stay on her 1D horse. He of course took the bet which included her going flying with him if he could.
